NATO and security challenges
NATO is today facing the biggest security challenges in a generation. The global security environment has never been more unpredictable.
As well as growing instability in the east and the south, there are also challenges of terrorism, cyber-attack, proliferation of ballistic missiles and hybrid warfare.
NATO is continuing to adapt its defence and deterrence capabilities to deal with all these threats.
